sacred rose & frankincense facial oil

This healing oil promotes the ritual of self-care, enormously beneficial for the skin and when you breathe in the aroma it is a tonic for the soul, bringing a sense of peacefulness and joy. Made in small batches, the process starts in the spring when ethically harvested wild rose petals are dried and then combined with frankincense resin using a pestle and mortar. Then combined with jojoba oil to infuse for several months. This forms the base for the facial oil.

The oils have been specifically selected to rejuvenate the skin, with each oil added for its unique healing abilities. Frankincense is an aromatic resin obtained from trees of the genus Boswellia in the family Burseraceae. Boswellic acid, a component of frankincense, is studied for its strong anti-inflammatory and cell-protecting properties, known to be anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial. Deeply nourishing, promotes cellular renewal and calms the skin.

Rose balances skin hydration. Antioxidant powerhouse that neutralizes free radicals, a major anti-aging benefit. Rose is a humectant, meaning it helps retain moisture in and on the skin, making it ideal for dry or mature skin.

Jojoba oil is very close in nature to sebum and is well absorbed. Sunflower oil is Contains vitamins a, B, D and E and high in linoleic acid content, and absorbs easily into the skin. Hemp seed oil is high in Omega fatty acids and proteins. Rosehip seed oil is high in essential fatty acids, gamma linoleic acid (GLA) and vitamin C.

Moringa Oil has high levels of behenic acid, rich in moisture as well as high in vitamins B and C, this oil is known to nourish, condition, and exfoliate the skin, thereby helping to minimize the signs of aging, and to enhance the complexion radiance. Evening Primrose oil is rich in gamma linoleic acid (GLA) and omega fatty acids which can be used to rejuvenate and moisturize the skin.

Sea buckthorn oil is one of the best sources of natural antioxidants, with a high content of Vitamin C, vitamin E and beta-carotene effectively combat wrinkles, dryness, and other symptoms of dry, aged skin.
