Forest Bath Ritual

The forest bath ritual, with its combination of salts, botanicals and essential oils are curated to invoke forest memories, enhanced by the subtle scent of the sacred rose body scrub. 

The ritual of bathing is routed in our DNA. Well before float tanks and massage therapists, we took care of ourselves by soaking in salts, milks, oils and botanicals to calm nerves, ease body pain, lift our sacred and sexual energy and connect to our heart and soul. This is a great ritual for eliminating stress and resulting body pain using the powerful combination of healing salts. 

Mantra:  “I am grateful for all my body carries for me, and I gently release all the tension, stress and pain into the water.”

Create a time and space for a sacred ritual bath.  Set at least one night per week when you won’t be disturbed.  This is a great time to set intentions for the coming days or to consciously release tension and stress from the body and mind. 

First, create the environment with candles, soft music (or complete quite), a glass or wine or a cup of tea.  You should also have a glass of water handy to stay hydrated.  Add a 1/4 cup of salts to warm water and once the skin has softened, apply body scrub, starting at your feet and working your way up towards the heart.  The scrub will melt away in the bath and your skin will be left super soft!  Take care getting out of the bath as the oils may make the surface slippery.

This soak is formulated to achieve just that. Add a 1/4 cup of salts to warm bath.

The Dead Sea is the most saline body of water in the world with far greater concentrations of minerals than any ocean (a concentration of 32% minerals compared to other seas, holding approximately 3%). Bromides and Iodine are present in Dead Sea Salt, including other minerals in a dried form, such as Magnesium, Sodium, Calcium and Potassium. It is used to support relief from muscle pain and to stabilise fluids level in the body. Pink Himalayan sea salt contains over 80 different minerals that are necessary for health, including macrominerals like calcium, chloride, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, and sodium as well as many trace minerals. Botanicals are added to increase a sense of peaceful relaxation. Blue Lotus is noted for its calming euphoria, aphrodisiac qualities, and sedation. Blue Lotus (Nymphaea caerulea) is a sedative plant also known as Blue Water Lily, Egyptian lotus and the Sacred Lily of the Nile.

Sacred Rose Body Scrub

Directions

Gentle exfoliant to support detoxification and skin repair. For use in bath or shower. Allow some time to soak in tub or stand in shower to soften the skin. Apply the scrub in circular motions, starting at your feet and working your way up towards the heart to promote circulation. Take extra time over rough spots. Rinse thoroughly. Take care, as the oils in the scrub can make the bath surface slippery.
